Objectives

Develop an analytical platform capable of processing the different data formats coming from a multitude of sources, both batch and in real-time, constituting the service layer for the information platforms of the whole group.

Our work

Construction of the analytical platform based on the requirements agreed with the bank using cloud infrastructure and a distribution of open source components with which information is ingested and processed, providing detailed governance and monitoring of the data.

Results

Rapid response to several of the problems and business needs that the bank had raised, demonstrating the immense possibilities offered by Big Data infrastructures with the use of open source components.

Tunnel curiosity project. Automated maintenance

Objectives

Development of an unmanned automated inspection vehicle into which data capture systems and information treatment elements are integrated for the corrective and preventive maintenance of tunnels and critical infrastructure of the high-speed rail network, ensuring complete safety of the same.

This is a research project, with FEDER Interconnecta and CEDETI funds, in which a consortium of 6 companies are participating: Alstom, Adif, Ferrovial, Vias, Insitu and Tinámica.

Our work

Development of the analytical infrastructure capable of ingesting, processing and allowing the use of all the data received by the different sensors on the vehicle, providing alarms for any issue that violates normality. Tinámica developed the project using cloud infrastructure due to its high availability and scalability.

Result

Automated vehicle able to collect data from multiple sensors in real time for subsequent interpretation and analysis in order to monitor the status and maintenance of tunnels and critical infrastructure of the high-speed railway network. Reduces maintenance costs by 80% and improves decision making by 35%.

Objectives

  1. Develop an analytical platform to centralise the entire business of En in Latin America (Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Peru and Argentina) to unify all existing analytical ecosystems providing a faster, more consistent analysis and one closer to the business.
  2. Develop advanced analytical projects for the different countries and companies of En, on this platform, adding value and enhancing the business of each country, while allowing those assets to be re-used.
  3. Maintenance and Support for all current business intelligence and advanced analytics infrastructures.

Our work

Business and use analysis of each country and subsequently the construction of the proposed solution using a cloud infrastructure and a Big Data architecture that would allow the ingestion, processing and use with all types of analysis tool such as Spotfire, Salesforce, R-Studio, etc.

Result obtained

The result has been a centralised platform where the Enel users in all Latin American countries have their data available and can make use of it, using all the same tools and accessing the data, from its most raw form through to the most highly processed.
